Dec 4, 2024 12:00 PM
Description
Cover crops can be a powerful tool to enhance soil health and aid in weed suppression across diverse soil and climate conditions in conventional and certified organic cotton production. Join Soil Health Educator Jessica Kelton and Texas A&M University Agriculture Conservationist Jodie McVane for a webinar discussing two fact sheets developed by the Soil Health Institute, Texas A&M AgriLife Research, and Rodale Institute. VF Corporation Senior Manager, Global Sustainability Programs Alyse Russel will moderate a Q&A session.
The webinar will explain how cover crops can help cotton farmers control weeds, compare cover crop species across the U.S. Cotton Belt, and share insights from farmers who have successfully used these methods.
